Introduction: The Blackwater Triathlon Club is a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers. The club is based at the Blackwater Leisure Centre, Park Drive, Maldon, Essex where we have swimming training sessions on Sunday morning 07.00 to 08.00 and Thursday evening 21.30 to 22.30. In the winter months we also have turbo training sessions on Sunday morning following swimming training. The club caters for all ages and abilities and we welcome new members who are keen to try out triathlon as well as existing triathletes wanting to join a local club. Club

Constitution: The Blackwater Leisure Charity Triathlon 2007. Our sixth Novice and Sprint Triathlon was held on Sunday 16th September 2007. The event was organised in partnership with Maldon and District Cycling Club, Blackwater Harriers Running Club, Blackwater Leisure Centre. A presentation of £1000 was made to Farleigh Hospice, mid Essex. The Blackwater Leisure Charity Triathlon 2005. Our fifth Novice and Sprint Triathlon was held on Sunday 18th September 2005. The event was organised in partnership with Maldon and District Cycling Club, Blackwater Harriers Running Club, Blackwater Leisure Centre and Maldon District Council. £1000 was raised for the event charity, Basin Heart Watch. The Blackwater Leisure Charity Triathlon 2004. Our fourth Novice and Sprint Triathlonl took place on Sunday 19th September 2004. Again the event will be organised in partnership with the Blackwater Leisure Centre, Maldon and District Cycling Club, Blackwater Harriers Running Club, and Maldon District Council. £1000 was raised for the event charity, Disability Sport England. The Blackwater Leisure Charity Triathlon 2003. Our third Novice and Sprint Triathlon was held on Sunday 7th September 2003. The event was organised in partnership with Maldon and District Cycling Club, Blackwater Harriers Running Club, Blackwater Leisure Centre and Maldon District Council. £1000 was raised for the event charity, Disability Sport England.
